MEET THE HERO OF THE ANDAMAN ISLANDS
About The Episode
What seems calm and tranquil may not necessarily be so. Under the tranquillity, there maybe a vibrant, dynamic world and above water there maybe dangers which are lurking at every corner. Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park is one such. In the Andaman Islands, a group of 15 islands make up this fragile ecosystem. This episode documents the diversity among the corals and the challenges they face because of climate change. As well as documenting the multilayered work the forest guards have to do here, including underwater and above.
